One Year of the Diverse Business Advisory Board

On Monday 7th June 2024, the Diverse Business Advisory Board met at the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering (NCEFE) on Attercliffe Road beginning with a tour of the NCEFE facility, showcasing its cutting-edge work in food engineering.

We then reviewed the success of the Meet the Buyer Procurement Event, which brought together over 80 businesses. The board also discussed the progress of the Councils Growth Plan and provided valuable feedback on the direction of the plan.

We also took time to celebrate the first-year achievements of the Diverse Business Advisory Board, reviewing the priorities we’ve delivered on, and offering suggestions for what’s worked well and what could be improved.
