Environment in action for all the family! Heeley City Farm is an urban farm and a rare breeds visitors centre just a few minutes from Sheffield City Centre.
Come and meet the friendly animals, play in the under-8s playground, enjoy fresh home-cooked meals in The Farm Kitchen cafe or stock up on plants from the peat-free Garden Centre.
There's always lots of events and activities happening too.

Heeley City Farm is a certified rare breeds centre meaning they breed native UK breeds that are so rare, some species are classed as vulnerable by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. They also have a small animal house that houses cute and cuddly animals and scary corner.
On your way around the Farm you will also find multiple bird enclosures hosting different breeds of ducks, chickens, peafowl and even a silver pheasant!
The farm is wind and sun powered with an education centre, toilets, recycling facilities and more.
The Farm Kitchen cafe is vegetarian/vegan and serves home-cooked hot meals, snacks, cakes and hot/cold drinks. Open every day 9.30am - 4pm.
The garden centre is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am - 3.30pm.
Heeley City Farm can cater for any visiting group or individual, they are child friendly and have full disabled access. There is also a bookable classroom for group or school visits.
Tours are available on request, though large parties are advised to phone beforehand to ensure the farm can make all amenities available.
There isn't a car park at the farm but the site is surrounded by roads that you can park on for free.
