The Lyceum Theatre is the main venue for touring productions in the Sheffield Theatres complex, and is adjacent to the Crucible Theatre.
With over a hundred years of history, this magnificent theatre provides an ornate backdrop to the very best of the West End and a window on the world, with a diverse programme of musical theatre, opera, ballet, contemporary dance, family shows and comedy, as well as some of Sheffield Theatre's own productions too.

Designed by WGR Sprague, the Lyceum Theatre originally opened in 1897. A traditional proscenium arch theatre, this 1068-seat listed building is Sprague's only surviving design outside London.
Following its closure in 1968, the Lyceum underwent a £12 million renovation and reopened in 1991.
Sheffield Theatres' Box Office is located in the lower foyer of the Crucible building (directly opposite the Lyceum Theatre) and is open Monday to Saturday 10am - 6pm, for phone and counter sales.
On performance days, the box office remains open until the shows have begun.
The theatre has three bars and provides light snacks.
Sheffield Theatres offer a range of captioned, audio described, relaxed, dementia-friendly and British Sign Language interpreted performances.
