Located in the heart of Sheffield City Centre, Orchard Square is an open-air shopping court and vibrant leisure destination, home to well-known retail brands and an array of Sheffield independents.
Originally built in 1987, the centrepiece of the Square is a quaint clock tower, complete with features that nod to the Sheffield's prolific cutlery-making heritage.
A newer addition to the Orchard Square though, is a massive 50ft. mural created by Sheffield based illustrator Will Rea. This huge piece of street art, creates a colourful backdrop for Orchard Terrace, an outdoor dining terrace overlooking the square.
In terms of shopping, Waterstones, TK Maxx and The Body Shop are just some of the high-street names, but there's also several Sheffield indies too, including a variety of Craft Shops on the upper level worth seeking out. See the full list of stores here.
Orchard Terrace, is home to bar Terrace Goods who serve top of the line cocktails, NY Pizza by the slice, and Nashville fried chicken, while dive bar neighbour Cheap Dates offer craft beer, cocktails & live music, plus late licence on weekends.
Food hall, Sheffield Plate is also on the lower level, with six street food vendors serving up dishes and street food from across the globe, along with two bars offering an array of exciting drinks.
The Old Shoe is the most recent addition to the square, a craft beer taproom, modern ciderhouse, and artisan wine bar, offering one of the most extensive drinks menus in the city.
Other recent additions include art gallery Fronteer and the flagship shop for award-winning social enterprise, Printed By Us.
