Kelham Island Walks bring to life the history of one of Sheffield’s first industrial districts. With a choice of different walks, you can discover fascinating stories about the history of the area, its buildings, its art and people, as well as what makes the area tick today.
The walking tours take around two hours, cost £10 per person and need to be booked in advance. Most take place on Sunday mornings or weekday evenings in the summer – please see the website for more details.
There are currently three walks available – history tours of Kelham Island and Neepsend, and a public art walk covering both areas. Private walking tours can also be arranged at mutually convenient times for pre-arranged groups. Do get in touch for further details.
