Contemporary British Painting Prize 2024

Yorkshire Artspace presents this year's Contemporary British Painting Prize exhibition at Persistence Works, in partnership with Contemporary British Painting and Huddersfield Art Gallery.

The exhibition features exciting work by 17 contemporary painters from across the country, who were shortlisted from over 1200 applicants: Simon Averill | Ruth Bateman | Daniel H Bell | Eric Butcher | Alison Critchlow | Zavier Ellis | Lothar Götz | Andy Harper | Davina Jackson | Angela Lizon | Lily Macrae | Dougal McKenzie | Harriet Mena Hill | Sophia Rosenthal | Olivia Sterling | Simon Taylor | Polly Townsend

The touring exhibition has previously been presented BayArt Gallery (Cardiff) and Thames-Side Studios (London) before its final stop in Sheffield, where Turner Prize-winning artist Lubaina Himid will announce the recipients of the inaugural Judith Tucker Memorial Prize.
