The ISU Figure Skating European Championships Sheffield 2026, is set to take place from 13 - 18 January at the Utilita Arena Sheffield.
This prestigious event will bring the continent’s top skaters to the UK for a week of unforgettable performances and world-class competition.
It marks the first time in over a decade that the European Championships will be held in the UK and serves as the final major competition before the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games.
Visitors to the event will be able to witness world-class performances as around 160 of Europe’s elite competitors compete in four thrilling disciplines – men’s singles, women’s singles, pairs and ice dance, which will see skaters perform a program of awe-inspiring, intricate figures and wowing the crowds with their breathtaking skills and artistry.
This ice spectacular will delight audiences of all ages – not only will this be an unforgettable event for spectators, but it will also serve as a lasting legacy for the UK by inspiring the next generation of British skaters and athletes.
The competition will also feature the largest-ever UK team at a major international event, building on the incredible success of British skaters in recent years - most notably ice dancers Lewis Gibson and Lilah Fear, whose latest achievements have included a medal win at the last European Championships and the UK’s first ever podium finish at an ISU Grand Prix Final.
