Musical Pocket Playground Workshop with Emergence Collective
A Classical Weekend Festival First! Musicians from the brilliant Emergence Collective will host a wonderfully unique free workshop for twelve, 5-8 year olds at the Musical Pocket Playground in Charter Square on Saturday 22nd March, 1500 – 1630.
In this workshop, let your young ones explore the idea of improvisation and experiment with the sounds that these instruments (that are permanently based in Charter Square) have to offer in a free collaborative workshop.
Emergence Collective are based in Sheffield and build beautiful, minimalist sound worlds that gradually evolve through improvised performance.

Please note – children must be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18 throughout the entire workshop and you will be asked to sign a participating form that recognises you take full responsibility for the safety of your child throughout the workshop. Places will be given on a first come first serve basis.
