Sheffield-Buxton-Sheffield cycling event

27 Apr 2025 08:00 - 16:00

Sheffield-Buxton-Sheffield is a non-competitive ride with a friendly atmosphere run by local cycling organisers which has proved highly popular for it's routes and relaxed atmosphere.

Dramatic, high peakland scenery, hidden lanes and memorable climbs, the climber's classic ride is a tough day out in the same vein as the Ardennes monument it emulates.

The full route takes you up at least TEN climbs including:

  • Monsal Head
  • Mam Tor (Mam Nick from the south)
  • Stanage
  • Abney

The shorter route has five big climbs but does not include Monsal Head.

The routes will NOT be signposted; you will be following a GPS file and/or a printed route sheet.
