Bringing competitive cycling back to the streets of Sheffield's city centre, Sheffield Grand Prix returns on Wednesday 16 July 2025.
Part of the British Cycling National Circuit Race Series, the event attracts the UK’s top teams and riders to race around a 1.4km circuit right in the heart of the city, with additional event activity focused on the Peace Gardens and surrounding area.
Each lap includes a cobbled section and sweeps past famous landmarks such as the Crucible Theatre and Sheffield Town Hall, before finishing outside Browns Sheffield on Union Street.
The Sheffield Grand Prix circuit will open to the public before racing starts to give everyone the chance to cycle The Outdoor City, traffic free.
Scoot or wheel your way round the pro-circuit with Olympic champion and South Yorkshire’s Active Travel Commissioner, Ed Clancy OBE. It’s free, fun and perfect for the whole family - register here.
