Shine
This exhibition is entitled 'Shine'. It was inspired by a visit to the Millenium Gallery to see 'John Hoyland - The Last Paintings' exhibition.
Steven Montgomery loved the use John made of metallic emulsion to make his paintings come to 'life'. As he couldn't afford one of John's paintings, he decided to create his own in a similar style.
After completing the first one, he enjoyed it so much that he just carried on creating, which resulted in this collection of works displayed here.
