Wild Play - Pond and mini-beasts

Love exploring outside? Come along to Greno Woods for a pond themed adventure! Investigate what weird and wonderful creatures live in the pond, plus activities and bug hunting on the 'Enchanted Obstacles Trail'.

This event is also part of the Children's University! These Wild Play events are perfect for children approximately 3-9 yrs. You only need to book a ticket for the participating children, but adults must stay too. The event is 2 hours and is totally outside whatever the weather, so prepare for woodland (muddy) conditions.

The woodland is not accessible for prams or push chairs. Please ask us if you want more clarification. Booking a ticket is essential to attend this event. Meeting point is the Grenoside Wood Car Park, located on Woodhead Road (on the left side as you go up the hill). If it’s full you may park on the main road, but do so safely. The Wildlife Trust Leader will meet you in the car park.

The adventure starts as promptly, so try to arrive on time so you're not left behind! The woodland is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible. Please ask if you want more clarification.
