Bakers Yard Bakery

A speciality coffee house and sustainable micro-bakery, you'll find Bakers Yard nestled in the heart of Kelham Island, within Citu's Little Kelham complex, just behind Isabella's on Alma Street.

What began as a side-gig, quickly grew to the point where owners, Sam Lindsay and Becca Crofts’ bakes were in such demand, they were able to leave their jobs and go full-time, baking from home for cafes across Sheffield.

And now Bakers Yard Bakery is their own designated spot in the city, where they bake a range of sweet and savoury seasonal and local specialities in house, which are available to eat in or take away.

Beyond Sheffield, their repute has also caught the attention of The Good Food Guide who said their "signature rum canelés are superb, as are the white chocolate, pistachio and lemon cookies, and the salted whey caramel and chocolate ganache tarts. Savoury bakes also change constantly, but do order the vadouvan-spiced potato and Baron Bigod cheese pie if it’s on offer.".
