Having originally opened in 2016 in Sheffield’s Kelham Island district, JÖRO moved to their stunning new flagship site at Oughtibridge Mill (on the edge of the Peak District) in 2024 - taking this already acclaimed restaurant to the next level.
The JÖRO experience offers a style of food, drinks, atmosphere and service entirely unique to them, with a restaurant designed to be an informal open plan dining room that creates an immersive dining experience, where guests share in the buzz of the kitchen and their complete passion for food.
Headed up by owners husband & wife, Chef Director Luke French & Managing Director Stacey Sherwood-French, this award-winning restaurant has built a strong reputation wowing food critics and customers alike and is consistently ranked amongst the best restaurants in the country via the likes of the The Good Food Guide and Michelin Guide.
JÖRO has no dress code, allowing for a comfortable experience and welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy their tasting menus.
The new Oughtibridge Mill site also has a dedicated bar and terrace area where you can pop in for drinks and beer snacks.

AXL by JÖRO - private dining
AXL is Luke French’s test kitchen in Kelham Island when you can enjoy a private Chef's Table experience, with Luke himself. Intimate yet interactive, AXL is limited to just four seats, where Luke will prepare and cook the dishes right in front of you, whilst explaining them at every stage. More info.
