Built-in 1846 the building was originally a grocery shop where locals sold bottled beer that could be refilled. In 1977, it became the Firwood Cottage where it was modernized as a Tetley house.
Re-born as the Blind Monkey in May 2018, several original features have been retained, including the Victorian façade and the fireplace in the bar.
A warm welcome awaits as well as real ales and much more including ample outside tables and covered heated spaces.
