Located on picturesque Penny Lane in Totley, Sheffield, the pub takes its name from the cricket pitch it overlook, which is set amongst a backdrop of the stunning Blacka Moor.
Dating back to the 18th century, expect a warm welcome at The Cricket Inn where you will find exceptional local and seasonal food, Thornbridge beers, a cosy spot by the open fires in winter, or a sunny bench outside in the summer.
Whatever the weather, expect an exceptional location, hearty flavoursome food, and a very warm welcome.
Choose from the a la carte menu Monday to Saturday, which is subject to change with the seasons, or enjoy their popular roasts on a Sunday, and of course the little ones are well catered for with a kids’ menu. In the summer you may find that the garden kitchen is open serving dirty dogs and pizzas (keep an eye on social media to see when this is open). They also have a BBQ menu available for outdoor parties where you can make use of the stretch tent!
They welcome muddy boots, kids and dogs - the pub is popular with local walkers and cyclists who are in need of liquid refreshment after enjoying the surrounding countryside!
