The Lost & Found is a botanically inspired venue that has taken root on Ecclesall Road. Cocktails, sumptuous food and great decor make this a fab place to get a drink on the way to or from the Botanical Gardens and Endcliffe Park, or hang out for the day in.
Mythical professor of horticulture Victoria B Darcy is the inspiration behind the new restaurant and bar, set to create a world of wonder for all who visit. Drawing inspiration from Sheffield’s industrial heritage and its location near the Botanical Gardens, The Lost & Found juxtaposes strong industrial elements and raw materials with softer floral features.
Delicate cherry blossom and climbing roses provide the perfect backdrop to the Victoriana style furniture, in rich velvets and leathers. The kitchen plates up beautiful dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients that perfectly accompany the drinks, with smoky grilled steaks, hand-finished pizzas and a selection of pasta, fish and meat dishes completing the menu.
Afternoon tea guests share perfectly decorated sweet treats and finger sandwiches and the weekend starts with bottomless brunch, with staple dishes of Turkish eggs or buttermilk pancakes whilst sipping flutes of prosecco or Mimosas. Escape the hustle and bustle of Sheffield and be transported to a horticultural haven on Ecclesall Road, with some of the city’s finest cocktails and seasonal dishes.
