True Loves is a wonderful refurb of the old canal arches, creating a waterside bar and kitchen that serves meat and cheese with beers, wines, cocktails, and a bunch of small plates and sharing platters for all. Honest, humble and independent, they are a staple with local communities, but love promoting the fantastic produce of Sheffield and broader Yorkshire.
True Love's name pays homage to the history of the area, a Sheffield poem True Love's Gutter, which featured in a song written by Richard Hawley and also embraces the comical side in true Yorkshire wit - True Love's a generation old family butchers of the 1800's and their supposed use of the River Sheaf.
