Yellow Arch
Once an Edwardian nuts and bolts factory, Yellow Arch is Sheffield's most prolific recording studio and is a key player in the music industry, both locally and throughout the UK.
Since opening in 1997, they're perhaps best-known as the birthplace of the Arctic Monkeys, but have produced albums by a diverse range of artists including Richard Hawley, Jarvis Cocker, Duane Eddy, Kylie Minogue, Goldfrapp, Wayne Hussey and many more.
Aside to their recording credentials though, Yellow Arch is also home to a vibrant 200-capacity music venue and bohemian café bar, with cobbled courtyard outdoor space.
The venue hosts a diverse range of events throughout the year and is known for embracing music and performing arts from all genres and corners of the globe - particularly roots, dub, afrobeat, jazz, disco and funk. For upcoming events, you can see their listings here.

With a full bar license to go along with their state of the art operational facilities, it's one of only a few buildings in Europe where people can write, rehearse, record, perform and film, all finished off with a pint, under the same roof!
Their secluded courtyard includes a marquee, seating and heaters.
The venue hosts a wide variety of events, with everything from gigs, open mics and raves to private parties and weddings.
Providing a facility for hundreds of local bands to meet and record, Yellow Arch also offer placements and training to students, and regularly supports local community projects and charities.
