Elspeth Whitby

After discovering the Sheffield Ambassador Programme, Elspeth’s involvement with it has ‘snowballed’.  She has helped to secure and deliver several conferences including a collaboration with with fellow ambassador Marta Cohen to deliver the International Stillbirth Alliance conference which welcomed delegates from across the globe to this event in July 2023. She finds the time-saving and in-depth knowledge of Sheffield’s many venues incredibly helpful. In her role as an ambassador, she also encourages national bodies to host meetings outside London, which the programme handles with ease. She is proud to spread the message that Sheffield is an excellent location for meetings and conferences.
