Swati is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and the first Subspecialist in Urogynaecology in Yorkshire. She completed her medical education in India and migrated to the UK in 2000 when she started working in the NHS. She is the Training Programme Supervisor for Urogynaecology and leads several specialised services.  She also set up and established the laparoscopic urogynaecology service in Sheffield.

Swati has an international research and leadership profile in Urogynaecology and was the youngest Chair of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG)[2019-2021].

Swati joined the Ambassador Programme after securing the UKCS conference for Sheffield (2023) and working with the team at Conference Sheffield she made full use of the free advice and services available to ensure the conference was a great success.
