Sheffield has a long history in gaming, thanks in part to being the original home the world renowned and iconic Gremlin Graphics who produced over 220 titles before being bought out in 1999.
That legacy continues and is currently experiencing a resurgence, spearheaded by the fact we are home to the UK's National Videogame Museum and the British Gaming Institute.
The gaming industry also accounts for part of the city's healthy digital and tech sector - which also has a number of related creative digital organisations all of whom help keep talent and industry flowing through the city with digital film production and animation.
A great experience for nostalgic adults and keen teens, this homage to the industry is a national attraction and hosts conventions and conferences too.
