Sheffield has been named as the UK Food Capital of the UK, according to a report by hospitality provider, Accor, as they reviewed the very best locations to indulge your taste buds and identified the best spots for different cuisines.

A Brewing Capital of the World

Sheffield has retained its position as the 'Real Ale Capital of the World', according to a new report commissioned but the University of Sheffield.  

Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire region is now home to 58 breweries, more per head of population than anywhere else in the country, producing around 1,800 different beers every year.
