At the top of Howard St, just over the road from the train station and on the main route into town, is the central campus of Sheffield Hallam University, who we are delighted to be able to include as a location partner for the Look Up project. There is a huge amount of work going on around here to build new facilities and continue to progress the University, so it's the perfect space to showcase Sheffield's inventive side.
The artwork you will see here is called The Neon Pack and is designed by Human Studio. It's an adaptation of some work they previously did for one of the legendary nightclubs in Sheffield, Hope Works, as part of an XR Stories production, and features music from Sheffield born artist and producer 96Back who is a rising star in the electronic scene.
Straight up the hill from the train station, opposite Hallam University central campus, sits How St. They make everything fresh from local produce, and have a lovely outdoor terrace where you can spend plenty of time supping on a coffee while you watch folks wander past.
