Festival of the Outdoors 2025
Every March, as the days are getting longer, drier, and warmer in Sheffield, we celebrate what it means to be The Outdoor City, by hosting the Festival of the Outdoors.
You'll find everything from large-scale international sporting events to small community gatherings; from guided walks to some of the worlds hardest bouldering problems; outdoor markets to film festivals.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show
The Australian Pink Floyd Show return in 2025 to celebrate 50 years of the iconic album ‘Wish You Were Here’. Featuring the songs "Have a Cigar", "Wish You Were Here" and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", The Australian Pink Floyd will perform the album in full alongside Pink Floyd’s greatest hits.
The Boomtown Rats
The Boomtown Rats are a trailblazing rock / new wave band that emerged in the late 1970s, renowned for their raw energy, thought-provoking lyrics, and ability to reinvent themselves across decades. Formed in 1975 in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, the band was founded by Bob Geldof, Garry Roberts, Johnnie Fingers, Pete Briquette, Gerry Cott, and Simon Crowe.
Boo Hewerdine
From his band The Bible in the 80s, countless projects (including his work with Fairground Attraction's Eddi Reader), and, of course, his solo work, Boo Hewerdine is well known and celebrated for his songs and performances across the UK and further.
Neil Delamere
Fresh from sell out shows at The SSE Belfast Arena and Vicar Street Dublin Neil Delamere is back on the road with a brand new epic stand-up show, and will perform at The Leadmill on Sunday 14th September. Join Neil Delamere as he takes on life’s absurdities in his own inimitable way. A celebration of the altogether too frequent weaknesses that make us human. Don’t miss the hilarious Achilles Neil.
Dara Ó Briain - Re:Creation
After the huge international success of his last tour, 'So, Where Were We?' which sold out 173 venues across 20 countries and was named UK Comedy Tour of the Year 2023 (Chortle), Dara's new show 'Re:Creation' sees one of Ireland's finest live comedians back doing his favourite thing: standing in a theatre, telling stories and creating madness with the audience.

Get ready for a night of smooth vibes and timeless hits!
Björn Again
Designed as a tongue-in-cheek rocked-up light-hearted ABBA satire, this show achieved worldwide cult status with critical acclaim and was acknowledged for initiating the ABBA revival, which brought about ABBA Gold, Muriel’s wedding and MAMMA MIA!

Autumn Lights at Don Valley Bowl
Autumn Lights returns to Don Valley Bowl for their fireworks fiesta on Bonfire Night Wednesday 5 November. Alongside Sheffield's biggest fireworks display, there will live music, DJ, fire/ light performers, laser shows, fun fair and street food.
